Aaron V Beavor

Aaron V. Beavor, age 63, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 15, 2017. He was born in Grants Pass, Oregon, on December 15, 1953, the 4th of 8 children of Claude Arthur Beavor and Isabel May Dunbar Beavor. Growing up, Aaron attended school in such various places as Ireland, Utah, Idaho, and California. He earned 2 Associate of Arts Degrees from Valley Community College and majored in Economics at Cal State San Bernardino. In 1974 he married Linda Taylor. The marriage ended in divorce. In 1982, he married the love of his life, Connie Olsen, of Garden Grove California. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Los Angeles Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Aaron worked many years as a maintenance manager. For the last 9 years, Aaron was on the maintenance team at San Bernardino Valley Community College as a maintenance electrician. Aaron also served as Classified Senate President at Valley College and was twice nominated as Valley College Classified Employee of the Year. Aaron served for more than 30 years as a volunteer with Boy Scouts of America, and for over 25 years as a campmaster at Lost Valley Scout Reservation. He will be fondly remembered for the many contributions he made to the Lost Valley stables program. Aaron was an active member of the LDS church and served in the Primary and Young Mens organizations, and in the Elders, Seventies, and High Priests quorums in both teaching and administrative capacities. Aaron is survived by his wife Connie, and children Robert (Elizabeth), Kathy Talbot (Travis), Brian (Melissa), Steven, Sara Scott (Justin), Nathan (Sarah), and Jared (Kasey), niece Miki Olsen, 15 grandchildren, sisters Dawna Steverson and Debbie Hoffman, brothers Jim, Dan, Andy, and Tony, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Shawn. “A heart is not judged by how much you love, but by how much you are loved by others” (L. Frank Baum). Loved by many, Aaron will be greatly missed. Viewing will be Thursday, April 20, from 6-8pm at Sierra Memorial Chapel, 4933 La Sierra Ave., Riverside, 92505. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 21 at 11am at the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints, 8660 44th Street, Jurupa Valley, 92509, with a viewing at 10am in the Relief Society room.
