Albert Matthew Carrete Jr., born on December 20, 1989, in Corona, CA, passed away on May 14th, 2022, at the age of 32. When Albert was ten years old, he was diagnosed with myocarditis. On February 24, 2001, he was gifted a second chance at life through heart transplantation at UCLA hospital - allowing him to have a long 21 years ahead filled with life and love. At a young age, he was made well aware of how short life can be, and that knowledge shaped him into the man he was today-a man of strength, honesty, and kindness. In 2012, he went on to graduate college from Chapman University, obtaining a bachelors degree in business with an emphasis in finance. Albert always grabbed life by the horns and never passed up an opportunity to learn something new. He had a wide range of passions, anywhere from music to animals, but the true love of his life was technology. He became a skilled computer programmer with the goal of helping others. If you needed a website for your business, Albert was your guy. Needed help picking out a TV? He knew all the specs. Albert was one of the most well-rounded people you would ever meet, and there was nothing in this world he couldn't do once he put his mind to it. He loved hard, valued all walks of life, and inspired others to do the same. Albert is survived by his parents, Albert Carrete Sr., and Luz Milla, who he loved dearly. Although we were not ready for his departure, his celebration of life will be held at 10:00 a.m. for family and friends on Saturday, June 4th, 2022, at Crossroads Christian Church in Corona, CA. His final resting place will be at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Orange, CA, where he can feel at peace overlooking the mountains and near wildlife as we know he would love. The family has asked that for any flowers and/or gifts, please take or send to Crossroads Christian Church 2331 Kellogg Ave Corona, CA 92881. Thank you in advance.
