Alfonso Ibarra Partida, a.k.a. Big Al, Fonzi, Toro, Guero, and to many coworkers simply "PARTIDA" was born April 6th, 1959 in Santa Ana, California. He is the son of Alfonso and Maria Partida and very much loved by his four brothers and four sisters: Isabel, Rose, Connie, Tony, Javier, Arlene, Andy and Maryann. Alfonso's parents moved to Corona in the early 70's as a child and teen. Al followed his Dad's footsteps working in the Dairy industry for several years. He met his Soul Mate Debbie Alvarado in 1972. He then started his own family in 1977 and took on other jobs that landed him at "Clow Valve Company". After Several Years, Big Al went on to follow his passion in Mechanics and started a career at Rubidoux Cadillac. After Gaining experience as an auto diesel mechanic for 7 years. In 1985 Partida then began his Long Illustrious Career with "Southern Pacific Railroad" which then became "Union Pacific". Some of Toro's favorite hobbies were playing Softball where many knew, respected, and loved him. Some reputable softball clubs he played with were the MVPS, CT BOYS, Mark Chris, Los Carnales, Brown Town, Breakers, Team Rhino, The Rail Dawgs, and Team Smash. Some of Big Als other passions were riding his Harley and numerous home projects. Alfonso is survived by his wife Debbie of 43 years his children Anthony, Monica, Gilbert, and eleven Grandchildren, Destiny, Devin, Gabriel, Joseph, Marina, Christopher, Joshua, Izaac, Amarize, Nathan, and William who were adored and loved by their TATA. Gueros Special Joy was hosting Thanksgiving for his entire family that at times would bring well over 100 guests to his home. He expressed how family unity was very important. Guero lived to witness his mother Maria, Wife, Kids, Grandkids, Brothers, Sisters, and family gather through his traditional values. He made every moment as full and memorable with music, laughter, jabs at his brothers and sisters, and stories. Big Al made sure he made his rounds to all family especially the younger generation reminding them of unity, love, and respect for each other. In his later years Fonso loved to go out with his wife Debbie and treasure hunt at flea markets and make frequent trips across the border. His Plans were to finish home projects for his family, retire, and travel. Alfonso was a good Son, Husband, Father and Grandfather. He will always be remembered and loved by many he impacted along his path. Rest in Peace Alfonso Partida.
