Alfred Moses Wheeler III, age 72, of Corona, California, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2025. Born on January 19, 1953, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Alfred was a man of deep passions and enduring friendships.

From a young age, Alfred developed a love for football, playing both in high school and college. This passion for the game remained a central part of his life, with football season being his favorite time of year. He honorably served in the United States Marine Corps for three years, demonstrating his commitment to his country.

Following his military service, Alfred moved to California, where he spent the remainder of his adult life. He built a community of close friends through his love of camping and bowling. Alfred and his wife, Daisy, enjoyed traveling together, with frequent trips to Las Vegas being a highlight of their adventures. Alfred was known for his big heart, infectious laughter, and love for connecting with others. He cherished long conversations with family and friends, often spending hours on the phone sharing stories, laughter, and love.

Alfred is survived by his beloved wife, Daisy Wheeler; his children, Tasha Wheeler, Sharon Lightburn, Jermaine Lightburn, Keisha Robinson, and Andre Wheeler (Rita Salloum); and his mother, Germaine Colvin of Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Moses Wheeler II. Alfred was also a proud grandfather to Jaden, Kash, Ayden, Harper, Raven, and Nox.

A memorial service to honor Alfred's life will be held on May 23, 2025, at 9:30 AM at Thomas Miller Mortuary in Corona, California.

Alfred's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
