Alfredo C Ballon

July 29, 1945 — January 11, 2021

Alfredo C. Ballon Jr, son of the late Alfredo G. Ballon Sr. and Soledad Corpus Ballon, was born on July 29, 1945. He passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021. He was the sixth of eight children. He lived the early years of his life in the Philippines, first in Zambales, and then in Cotabato when his family migrated there in 1949. He attended the University of the East in Manila, graduated from the Southwestern University, School of Medicine in Cebu, Philippines, and later took the Philippine Medical examination. Shortly thereafter, Alfredo migrated to the US in the hope that he can become a US licensed physician. Alfredo was united in holy matrimony to the late Carmelita Gaurano Ballon. He diligently worked for a disability clinic for much of his career alongside his wife. In his spare time, he enjoyed dancing and singing karaoke; he was always the life of the party. Alfredo was known by many as a generous man who puts the well-being of others before his own. He had a kind and big heart, and always made sure that family comes first. Though he did not have any children of his own, Alfredo is remembered by his stepchildren, nieces and nephews as someone they could count on for guidance and support. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carmelita, his brother, Glicer, and sisters Noemi, Minda, and Juliet. He is survived by his brothers, Nick and Felix, and his sister, Cora. There will be no services at this time as his family is in observance of CDC guidelines.
