Alicia Elizabeth Yeamans

How do we eulogize a person that had such a joyous personality, we still feel her presence in the room? We do it with joy, love and the sense of celebration; to know that she is in the presence of the Lord!

I met Alica over twenty years ago, when her and Mike were dating. I knew then that she had met the man of her dreams. Alicia has always been a force in the business world as a senior buyer, at that time she was working for Hussmann Corporation. She knew the art of negotiating and closing the big deals at a high level, Mike had no choice in the matter, her natural beauty and charm captivated him right away. Once they married, she would continue to attract major manufactures like Fender and Oakley as employers, to name a few. What I loved most about Alica was the relationship she had with her beautiful daughter, Samantha; they were inseparable. The love she had for her child, carried through to the children she taught and mentored as a Sunday School teacher. Those who were blessed with her presence will always remember her kind smile and willingness to make them feel special. Alica loved to travel and scuba dive with Mike, among many other interests, too many to mention. My personal experience with Alica, that I will always remember, was our monthly card games we would play as couples, competitive was an understatement when it came to her approach to the game, as well as life. I will truly miss those wonderful times we had together.

In closing, Thank you Alica for bringing your light to so many, I pray for God’s comfort in this hour of immense grief for all of us who love you, especially the family members…
