Angie LoPorto Carlton of Corona California passed away on October 15 at the age of 94 in Corona California. Angie was the daughter of Italian immigrant parents Roy LoPorto and Nancy Pallerito LoPorto. Born and raised in Corona, Angie went to Corona High School graduating in 1950. In high school she met her future husband Patrick D. Carlton and they married on November 25, 1951. Angie was a wife and mother first. She was an active parishioner at St. Edward’s Catholic Church and then St. Matthew’s Catholic Church. She was also a member of Catholic Daughters. She volunteered with Meals on Wheels and also on Election Day. Angie was creative, she loved to cook and travel. She loved to knit, play dominoes and spend time with family and friends.
Angie was predeceased in death by her husband Patrick D. Carlton, of 39 years. She is survived by: son Patrick R. Carlton (wife Kathy, grandchildren Brian and Nicole), son Ted Carlton (husband Mark, grandchildren Jeffrey, Julie, and Joseph), son Mark Carlton (grandchildren Ashley and Kelly), daughter Shelly Carlton, and son Jon Carlton. She also had 11 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 10 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 2140 W Ontario Ave, Corona, CA 92882. A reception will immediately follow at the church.
