Ann Marie Gomez

ANN MARIE GOMEZ (1924-2014) Ann Gomez passed away at the age of 89 years old on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 in Corona, California. She was born in Los Angeles, California to Toby Smaldino and Louise Mosqueda Smaldino. Ann was a lifelong resident of the cities of Corona and Norco. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank M. Gomez in 2009. Ann retired from the Corona-Norco Unified School District as a Certificated Payroll Clerk after 26 years of service in 1991. Ann also volunteered for the Heritage Committee of the Corona Public Library. Ann is survived by her two children: Deborah Gomez, Berkeley, California and David Gomez, San Jacinto, California; her sister, Frances Trimble, Winchester, Oregon; her brother Richard De La Cruz, Advance, North Carolina; cousins Gloria Salgado, Corona, Mary Lou Shina, San Diego, California, Marina Burke, Corona; nieces Sudie Rose, Roseburg, Oregon, Sylvia Varela, Corona, Diana De La Cruz, Riverside, California, Stella Redondo Giese, Dinuba, California; nephews Rick De La Cruz, Corona, and Richard De La Cruz, Advance, NC. A remembrance gathering will be held at the graveside internment at Sunnyslope Memorial Park, 1125 Rimpau Ave., Corona, Thursday, March 13, 2014, 11am.
