Ann Marie Sauvageau

Ann Marie Sauvageau, born September 11, 1939 to Louis and Victoria Savioli in Boston, Massachusetts passed away September 9, 2016 after a long illness with Parkinsons. She enjoyed a wonderful 43 years of marriage with her husband Fernand Sauvageau. Ann lived in Cambridge MA and worked for Polaroid before moving to California in 1964. She went to work for Shur-Lok Corporation and an associate company Rohe Scientific as secretary to administration, and completed her education at Fullerton College. In l976 Ann started working as Assistant City Clerk for Anaheim attending nearly 1,000 council meetings in which she took the minutes in shorthand for the city. Ann married her husband Fernand and helped raise his six children: Debbie (McClellan), Terrance, Valerie, Sherry Lynn (Baggett), Craig and Jeffrey. She was also blessed with 15 Grand Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren who gave her great joy. She was an amazing woman who touched all of their lives and so many more with her love and wisdom. Ann retired in 2000 at the age of 61, after which she volunteered several years of her time in the library of the Orange County Archdioceses. In 2006 she moved from Anaheim to Trilogy in Temescal Valley, Corona where she and Fernand were embraced by many new loving friends. They traveled a great deal, to include all 50 states and many trips to Europe. She had a love for sports, history, and traveling, but most of all for God, family, friends and life. Ann is survived by her sister Chencie Voss, sister-in-law Beverly Savioli, and several nieces nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, sister Catherine Hughes, brother Anthony Savioli, brothers-in-law William Voss, Robert Ferguson, and nephews Robert Ferguson Jr., Paul and John Voss. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations be made to St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church building fund, in honor of Ann.
