Antonio Galvez

September 4, 1959 — March 28, 2024

Antonio “Tony” Gálvez Garduño, falleció el día jueves 28 de marzo a la edad de 64 años, en la ciudad de Corona, California. A su lado, estuvo su amada esposa Ernestina, quién fue testigo de la valentía y de la paz que tuvo al partir. En estos últimos 7 meses, afrontó con gran fortaleza su lucha contra el cáncer, y fue un gran ejemplo de que la vida, se vive con una gran sonrisa. A pesar del dolor y del sufrimiento, él siguió valiente y fuerte hasta el final.

De joven dejó su querido México en busca "del sueño americano” y logró todas las metas que se propuso.

Antonio conoció a su gran amor, Ernestina Martínez de la Cruz, en la Ciudad de México en el año 1979 y se casaron en 1981. Su matrimonio duró 43 años lleno de amor y apoyo entre ambos. Juntos formaron una gran familia con sus hijos José Antonio, Cecilia, Gustavo y Sandra.

Antonio fue un querido hijo, hermano, esposo, papá, abuelo, cuñado, tio amigo, y consejero, y será honrado en una ceremonia tradicional acompañado de toda su familia y amigos.


Mr. Antonio “Tony” Galvez Garduño passed away March 28th, 2024, at the age of 64 in the city of Corona, California. By his side was his loving wife, Ernestina Martinez, who was witness to his courageous effort and the peace he had when he passed. The last 7 months he fought with great resilience, cancer and could attest that life should be lived with a grand smile on one’s face. Even with great pain and suffering, he remained strong and courageous until the end.


When he was young, he left his beloved Mexico in search for the “American dream”, and he was able to achieve all his goals and dreams.


Mr. Antonio met the love of his life in 1979 and married her in 1981. Their marriage lasted 43 years and was filled with love and support of each other. Together they formed a family with their children José Antonio, Cecilia, Gustavo, and Sandra.


Antonio was a loved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle, friend, and mentor. He will be honored in a traditional celebration of life by his friends and family.
