Arturo Adonais Montoya was born Sept. 26, 1931 and passed away in Riverside on Dec 16, 2017. Art attended Gallaudet University where he received his bachelors degree and his Masters at State University of New York College. He worked at California School for the Deaf Riverside as a Psychometrist for over 25 years and also a Psychotherapist for the Riverside County Dept. of Mental Health. He was a visiting Professor at many Universities throughout the country. Art represented the U.S.A. at the Deaf Olympics in Washington D.C. in 1965. Elected National wrestling Coach of the year. He was preceded in death by wife Harljean. Survived by Son Artino and Daughter Tania Ana, his sister-in-law Kriss Sowa, and two grandchildren. Visitation will be Fri., Dec. 29, 2017 at Sierra Memorial Chapel Mortuary from 10:00 - 12:00 PM followed by Graveside services at 1:00 pm at Olivewood Memorial Park.
