Barbara Tocchi, 84, of Corona, California, died February 28, 2015 in Yuba City, California. She was born September 11, 1930 in Taunton, Massachusetts, daughter of Charles and Nellie Peirce. Barbara lived here in Corona since 1969. She was a member of Theta Chi Epsilon Society, Gamma Chapter and the Corona Kiwanis Club. Barbara was very active in Kiwanis, she was a member for over 20 years; she recruited countless members. She was a dedicated board member; helped organize Tiny Tot Olympics, Breakfast with Santa and latest and most important to Barbara was the Terrific Kids program; which she coordinated for many years throughout the Corona Norco Unified School District. Barbara is Survived by two sons, Michael and Lee Tocchi; 4 grandchildren, Autumn, Andrew, Aaron and Angela; 6 Siblings, Etta, Chester, Nellie May, Chubbs and Dorothy Ruth. Barbara was preceded in death by husband John Michael “Jack” Tocchi. Services will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Thomas Miller Mortuary with Jonathan Vincent officiating. A Celebration of Life/Reception will be held at Corona United Methodist Church 2880 California Avenue, Corona, CA 92881 at 12:30 PM.
