Belvia Ann (Cropper) Emerson, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and Friend passed away on July 8, 2024. She was born on October 1, 1936 and lived her full life in Corona. Belvia attended Corona High School where she was head cheerleader and was involved in many organizations and sports. It was there that a romance with Frank Emerson, Jr., began and culminated in their marriage on March 7, 1959. They went on to have three children; Elizabeth, Robert and Donald. Belvia loved gardening and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and laughter, she could be found taking care of her many flowers she loved to plant. She found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren and she and Frank loved to travel with both family and friends. Belvia enjoyed her involvement in the Women’s Improvement Club, Navy League, P.A.W.S. and the local Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Belvia was preceded in death by her parents, Warner and Bernice Cropper, her husband Frank, her son Donald, her twin sister Beverly, and her brother Don. She is survived by her son Robert (Diane) Emerson, daughter Liz (Mike) Jenkins, sister Carol Gunn, 5 grandchildren-Courtney, Taylor, Stephanie, Connor and Nicole, beloved nieces and nephews, and dear friends. We will all miss her greatly. A celebration of Belvia’s life will be held on August 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Thomas-Miller Mortuary in Corona, CA.
