Beulah Lorraine Gathright

Our Mom and Grammy, Bea (Beulah Lorraine) Gathright is now in the presence of her Savior, where she always longed to be. She touched many lives in her long and beautiful life here on Earth. She was born in Warren County, Iowa, the seventh of nine siblings and grew up during the Depression. Upon moving to California as a young adult, she met and married Neil Gathright, who preceded her in death in 1995. Together they had three daughters, whom they raised in Garden Grove and Buena Park. She was a devoted mom, volunteering and serving in her church and community, and active in many conservative causes. In 1974 she began a career in real estate and became busy and successful in that field as well. She is survived by her daughters, Joyce (Ralph) Milburn, Susan (Mark) Nymeyer, and Sheryl (Ray) Sims, 13 much-loved grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, her sister Shirley (Gene) Rosendahl of Iowa, and countless nieces and nephews. A Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, August 10th at 11 AM at Magnolia Baptist Church, 720 S. Magnolia, Anaheim, CA. Burial will be at Riverside National Cemetery at a later date. Instead of flowers, please do a random act of kindness or donate to a cause she loved.
