Billy Joe Clemons

Billy Joe Clemons September 30, 1946-November 08, 2020 Billy Joe Clemons, age 74, passed away peacefully at his home in Corona, CA on November 08, 2020 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease and Cancer. Billy Joe was born September 30, 1946 in Hines, West Virginia to Kenneth Elsworth and Juanita June Clemons. He was the eldest of 6 children. At age 3, they moved to California. He grew up in Pico Rivera, Ca and graduated from El Rancho High School in 1964. He served in the US Army from 1967-1969, having completed Basic Training at Fort Bliss, Texas and Clerk School at Fort Ord, California. After training he was stationed in Okinawa, Japan with the 555th Maintenance Battalion as Company Clerk. After his military service, he earned his Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration from Cal State University, Fullerton, Ca. For 35 years Bill worked as an Accountant, retiring in 2011. His true passions in life were his family and Faith in the Lord. He adored his grandson Jackson Clemons and his granddaughter Ellie Clemons. He cherished the time he spent with them. He also loved cars, trucks and music (especially R & B and Jazz). He enjoyed the Lakers and baseball. Billy was a loving husband to his wife Janet and loving father to his two sons Jason and Michael. He is survived by his wife of 45 years; sons Jason (Mary Grace) of Fullerton, CA, Michael (Amy) of Corona, CA and 2 grandchildren, Jackson and Ellie Clemons. He is also survived by one sister Betty LePage (Paul) of Yorba Linda, CA; four brothers, James Clemons of Santa Maria, CA, Kevin Clemons (Penny) of Elk Grove, CA, Kenny Clemons (Patty)of Bodfish, CA, and Ivan Clemons (Irene) of Fullerton, CA, nieces, nephews and cousins, also 4 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, but now is reunited in Heaven with them.
