Bobby Joe Alexander

Bobby Joe Alexander, 79 of Riverside, California passed peacefully with his wife of 53 years and daughter at his bedside, on May 17, 2017. He was born in Cleburne on January 15, 1938, the son of Dorris and Cleo (Bradley) Alexander. On September 10, 1963 he married the love of his life, Shirlene Bailey. BJ enjoyed music, cars, running, going to breakfast with his buddies, golfing, flying, off-road racing, reading, bulldogs and cowboy boots, among many other things. He was devoted to his family and friends and loved going on trips and spending time with them. He had a heart for helping others, and a great sense of humor. The light of his life was his grandson Jake. His easygoing kind spirit and great love for his family, friends and his Lord and Savior will be missed by everyone who knew him. BJ was preceded in death by his parents, and his grandchild, Baby Aden. He is survived by his wife, Shirlene Alexander of Riverside, CA; daughter Teri Aden and husband Chad of Keene, TX and grandson Jake of Keene, TX; and numerous cousins, relatives and friends. Celebration of life to be held on Saturday July 8, 2017 at 4:00PM at La Sierra University S.D.A Church, 4937 Sierra Vista Ave, Riverside, CA 92505, reception to follow.
