Bonnie LaDow Watts, 85, passed away May, 2 in Riverside, CA. Bonnie Mae Snyder was born May 7, 1928 in Wesley, Iowa to Hallard and Fannie Mae Snyder. After high school graduation she attended Northwestern Bible School where she met and married Herbert “Herb” Edward LaDow. They lived in Iowa and Minnesota until moving with their family to Riverside in 1962. Bonnie worked as a secretary for several different organizations including the University of California Riverside. She enjoyed playing the piano, gardening, participating in church activities, and spending time with her family. These activities became even more important to Bonnie in 1996 when Herb died. In 1998, Bonnie married Raymond Watts; they treasured their shared Bible study time along with years of travel, and church activities and family gatherings. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husbands, her parents, brothers Cecil and Hallard, and daughter Renee Fore. She is survived by sons, Robert and Douglas LaDow, daughter Marilyn Crowder Newton, brothers Darl Snyder and Clair Snyder, 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Her memorial service will be held at the Arlington Avenue Nazarene Church on Wednesday May 21 at 11am.
