Bonnie Lou Reese was born April 13th, 1953, in Riverdale, North Dakota, to Inez Remmick and LeRoy Reese. Bonnie and Inez moved to Southern California where her mother remarried and in 1958 Bonnie's sister, Keri, was born. The three of them moved to Iowa briefly where her second sister was born. Afterwards, they all moved back to Southern California where her third sister was born. Bonnie soon was the big sister and primary caretaker to her three little sisters. Bonnie attended Lennox High School and then later, Westminster High School, graduating in 1971. In 1970, while both working at Sir George's Smorgasbord in Westiminter California, Bonnie met the love of her life, Clayton Ray Fisher. Sparks flew for the first time while both in the walk-in freezer. They then realized that they both attended Westminster High together. After Clay graduated, early, in 1972, they were married on August 9th. Bonnie and Clay spent more than 50 wonderful years together. In March of 1974, she gave birth to a girl, Mindie Christine Fisher. In 1976 the young Fisher family moved to Florida to build up their finances. Moving back to California, and later Arizona and then California again, they finally set their roots in Southern California. Bonnie and Clay started their carpet cleaning business, ColorFast and then later renamed Fisher's Carpet Care, in 1980. They moved into their forever home in Corona in October, 1983. In October of 1986, she and Clay adopted their son, Brandon Douglas Fisher. From the early 90's until the early 00's, Bonnie became a pillar of Norco baseball Little League, then later, transitioning to Norco High School baseball Booster Club. In 2003, Bonnie achieved her dream of becoming a "Nana" to her first of five granddaughters, Delanie. Her last granddaughter, Maisey, was born in December of 2022. Even though she never got to meet Maisey, she loved all her girls equally; even though Delanie claims that she was Nana's favorite. Bonnie and Clay bought their first vacation home in Arizona in 2004 and made many lasting memories in that home. Even though they traveled mainly to the river, they went on their dream vacation in 2018 to Europe via a Rhine River cruise. Bonnie and Clay spent much of the following years planning their retirement home in Arizona. Their snow bird love nest was finished in 2022 and they hoped to move in permanently in 2025 after they were due to sell their business. In September of 2022, Bonnie was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of breast cancer. She went into this fight with all intentions of beating this diagnosis. Even throughout the pain and aggravation, she always spoke that she had so much to live for. After a short but intense battle, Bonnie was welcomed home into the arms of her Creator. She is survived by her husband Clay, her sisters, Keri, Amanda, and Kelli, her daughter, Mindie and her son-in-law, John, her son, Brandon and her daughter-in-law, Sarah, and her five grandchildren, Delanie, Addison, Braylin, Ainsley and Maisey. As well as, many family and friends who will remember and miss her greatly.
