Brenda Wilson

Brenda June Wilson was born on January 5th, 1948 in Midland, TX to James Carl Wilson and Wanda June Wilson. She was survived by her loving partner and "Life Tour Guide" Robert Cameron, son Jesse Martinez (wife Michelle), surviving sisters Debi Watson, Lynn New, Donna Parsons, Reverend Kevin J. Cameron, Cynthia Neal and 8 grandchildren - Rylee, Shalyn, Christine, Patrick, Maya, Tavis, Iris, and Dexter. Brenda came to California as a child and grew up in Norwalk. She raised her son in Garden Grove and moved to Riverside in 1988. It was there that she met her Robert in 1997 and her new life began. With Bob there were trips to Mexico, Cruises to the Baltic, and exploring of the East coast where Bob was from. She and Bob built a wonderful life at the Trilogy community where she just celebrated her 70th birthday last month with a joyous party. Not a day went by that she did not celebrate her pride for her grandchildren and their achievements but the angel of her life was her Robert. He cared for Brenda in a way she celebrated and spoke of often. Before her health began to decline Bob made sure she was treated like a princess and it continued until the end. Bob says, "My twenty-one years of life with her went by like a blur, every day was a picnic." Throughout the battle with her health, Brenda dealt with the many illnesses without complaint or whimper. She died peacefully at home and drew her last breath in the arms of her beloved. Brenda always loved cooking, finding new recipes, a brisk ride in the golf cart but no one will forget the special fussing with her hair and having her curlers on hand at all times. Brenda June never had a bad word for others and lived in the joy we all dream of. All who knew her will lovingly miss her.
