Bruce Robertson

Bruce L. Robertson November 10, 1939 - November 27, 2021 Bruce Robertson was born into the lives of his parents Mary and Harley Robertson on November 10th, 1939 in Home Gardens, California. Bruce was the youngest of four boys and grew up with his brothers Tom, James, and Harley Jr. and many cousins who all lived in the same Corona based community. As a teenager, he enjoyed his pets, including many dogs, cats, and his favorite horse Dahlia. Bruce married Jean Prielipp in 1963 and is survived by Jean and his three children, Don, Carolyn, and David. He loved spending time with his five grandchildren and three greatgrandsons. Bruce and Jeanie made their home in Diamond Bar for over 50 years. Bruce had a long career with General Dynamics as an electro-mechanical engineer, and then he continued his civil engineering career with the US Navy. Bruce was a responsible provider and loved his family very much. He was a dedicated son to his mother and father throughout their lives. He enjoyed family time with his children, teaching them new things. Bruce participated as a soccer coach, an Indian Guide and a Boy Scout leader. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Bruce enjoyed his home and his hobbies. He was always interested in new technologies and was an early adopter of CB Radio and personal computers. He took joy in working in his yard and caring for his orange trees that originated in the orchards where his father worked. Bruce loved working on cars, woodworking, and home improvement projects. Later in his life, he enjoyed boating and jet skiing. Bruce was proud to be the commodore of the Lake Norconian sailing club for several years. He was an avid fan of NASCAR and Country Music. Bruce passed from natural causes in the loving presence of his family on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at the age of 82. Bruce will be missed, and he is now at peace with those who have passed before him.
