Carmen Blancas

Carmen Blancas Zambrano was born on 11/24/1953 in Apipilulco Guerrero, Mexico. She was the daughter of Jesus Zambrano and Petra Zambrano with 8 siblings, 4 brothers and 3 sisters, she was the baby of the daughters. She met the love of her life Andres Blancas and married at the age of 15. She left her hometown and both of them became body guards. After 4 years they made a beautiful family with 3 children, the first was born in 1974 Rodrigo Blancas, two years later in 1976 they had Marlene Blancas and Andres Blancas JR in 1980. She was an immigrant that came to the United States to follow a dream which she accomplished here in the U.S. She was a dedicated wife and mother, she worked very hard all her entire life. She mainly worked in factories but was always a go getter, she sold so many things to help the family and her children. She was known for helping everybody, if you needed her she was always there no matter what. One of the things she was also proud of is she accomplished cake school, she was so proud of herself. We were also proud of her when she graduated cake school, we all enjoyed the beautiful cakes she always made. She showed us so many things, one of them was not to give up, she had such a big pain tolerance that not just any person could take. She went through so much but she showed us we can keep pushing on in life. We will always remember her as a loving, caring wife, mother, grandma, and beautiful person. She will always be remembered Carmen Blancas.
