Carol Adams Pengue

Carol Adams Pengue December 28, 1934 - January 18, 2019 Carol, age 84, of Trilogy in Corona went to be reunited with her parents, brother and many other loved ones in the arms of our Lord on Friday, January 18. After a long battle with Alzheimer's she let us know many, many times that this is where she wanted to be. She is at peace. Carol was born and raised in Milford, Connecticut. She worked many years at Southern New England Bell, and married the love of her life, Arthur F. Pengue in 1957 after meeting him at the boatyard during hurricane "Carrole". The two lived in Connecticut until 1979 when the family moved to sunny Orange, California, prior to their move to Trilogy in Corona in 2003 when Art retired. Art and Carol were married for 61 years and raised three loving children. Carol and Art enjoyed taking several cruises but most enjoyed being with family and friends…especially on the back porch with a glass of wine watching and chatting with the golfers. Carol is survived by her husband, Art: three children, Kim Potter and her husband Tom, Cheryl Wright and her husband Dave, and Craig Pengue and his wife Sole: seven grandchildren, Bailey Perez and her husband Robert, Chris Potter, Jordan Wright, Cody Potter, Bryce Walker, Justin Wright and Maddison Walker; and two great-grandchildren, Aria Perez and Jaxson Schneider. Carol leaves behind a large extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends who loved her very dearly. A celebration of life gathering is planned for Friday, January 25th at 4pm at Trilogy Lake Center, Tahoe room. Donations may be made in Carol's name to The Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org.
