Carol Wallauch was born to Paul and Esther Galloway, in Henderson, Kentucky, and raised in St. Louis Missouri as Carol Ann Galloway. She had two older brothers Paul and Jim, and an oldest half-brother, Richard. As a child in elementary school she was chosen to use her voice to read short “story time” segments for a radio show on the local station. She sang in church choirs and shows with various groups throughout her years in high school and College, attending and graduating from Ambassador in Big Sandy, Texas, and Pasadena, California. She sang with various groups then, helping to pay her way while in college. After college she worked in Telephone Response and Ministerial Services for her Church's Administration offices in Pasadena. After meeting Dave Wallauch, playing music with a local church group in Pasadena, Carol and Dave were married on December 25, 1983. During her subsequent business career Carol worked in the Corporate environment as an Executive Administrative Assistant for most of the years after her marriage to Dave. Not having had children, as a dog lover, Carol thoroughly enjoyed her "fur kids" Rufus and Vanna, a black Labrador and a yellow Labrador for 12 of the 20 years they lived in their home in Corona, California. Carol was always very creative, and loved to entertain and plan celebrations, and create content on her computer for various events and presentations, which was always an immense help to Dave. She loved to sing and was always involved to some degree in music, especially when it came to church events and Festivals. Carol especially loved singing Praise and Gospel music, an area in which she excelled, whenever she was able to take advantage of such an opportunity. Carol was always an avid student of the Bible, and shared often with her husband Dave, the many concepts and promises she came to understand, as well as using her profession of Faith to lift up and encourage everyone with whom she became friends, over the years. Carol was known for, her continual encouraging support on so many levels by so many of those that had the privilege to come to know her, and call her a friend. As a loving wife to Dave for 35 years, and precious child of God, she was always quick to give all credit to our Father for the many blessings Carol and Dave enjoyed during their wonderful life together. After Carol's valiant and courageous two year battle with cancer she is now resting, awaiting her crown. And just as sure as the sun comes up tomorrow morning, she looks forward to that mansion Carol knew was promised by our Savior, in John 14:2. She is sorely missed, by all that knew her. God knows, as we all do, what a wonderful GEM Carol is! We can look forward to sharing a seat, with her, at the Table of our Messiah in our Father's Family when we are ONE with Him, in His soon coming Kingdom. Carol KNOWS the end of the story, having read and lived by, the Book! Revelation 22:20 He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming quickly." Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! A Celebration of Life Memorial service in CAROLS honor, will be held at 5 pm on Saturday, December 29th in Garden Grove, California.
