Carolyn Ann Maneri

Carolyn “Lynne” Maneri (Oster) passed away Friday, February 19, 2016, surrounded by family members, after a battle with congestive heart failure. Lynne was born September 16, 1939, and spent her childhood in the suburbs of Cleveland, OH. After High School, Lynne met her loving husband of 56 years this June, Gerald Maneri. They married June 18, 1958. Lynne and Gerry raised their family, while serving our great nation, stationed in Boston, Turkey, Syracuse, Vietnam, Spain, and retiring from Norton here in San Bernardino. In 1978 they returned to the states, and settled in Southern California where they remained for the past 38 years. Lynne is survived by her husband Gerald Maneri, her son Thomas Maneri and his wife Peggy Maneri, her son Michael Maneri and his wife Sandra Maneri, her Daughter Tina Vanover and her husband Donald Vanover, her daughter Patricia Souza and her husband Timothy Souza, and her youngest son Brian Maneri. Lynne was predeceased by her oldest daughter Deborah Richey, and her granddaughter Ashley Vanover. She is survived by 12 adoring grandchildren, and was blessed with three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Kathy and brother Tom. Lynne spent a life devoted to her faith in the Catholic Church. Her devotion and love for her family will be felt for years to come. A Funeral Mass will be held at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Grand Terrace on Tuesday, March 1st at 10am.
