Catalina Serrato De Sanchez

Catalina Serrato de Sanchez, 65, passed away on November 25, 2018. She was the beautiful and faithful wife of Rafael Gonzalez Sanchez. They shared 47 years of marriage together. Born in Acuitzeramo, Michoacn, she was the daughter of Miguel and Maria Luisa Serrato. At a young age she immigrated to the United States with her loving father to pursue the American Dream. Through her hard work ethic, she managed various arduous migrant farming jobs until she settled as a homemaker and divided all her attention to raising her children. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and enjoying the outdoors with her family no matter how far she had to travel. Her children, grandchildren and great grandson were the pride and joy of Catalina's life. The legacy of Catalina's kind spirit, hardworking character, love and passion for family will live on through them. She is survived by her husband Rafael Gonzalez Sanchez and her children Carlos, Leticia, Rafael, Richard, Ronald, Victor and Edward, their spouses, 11 grandchildren and one great grandson.
