Catherine Denise True

Catherine Denise True was born on April 18th, 1960 at Norwalk, CA. She is survived by her wife Teresa Potter, two daughters Mary Jean Curran and Krystyna Denise Gomez, two son in laws Tony and Ben, Also her two brothers Edward Henry True (wife Patty) and Gordon Allen True (wife Lisa), Her mother Gloria Fitzgerald and four grandchildren (she loved very much),four nieces and four nephews and many, many friends, cousins and aunties and uncles. Cathy went to school and was raised in Garden Grove, Ca. Afterwards, she went to work with her mother in the beauty salon and went to school to become an optician. She managed eye ware stores for large companies. She was very active and made friends easily. She loved sports and her brothers growing up. Going to the beach and cooking was one favorite pass times. She loved sharing a meal with others and being a mother to her beautiful daughters and later a grandmother to her 4 grandchildren. She was their “gaga”. She also loved her dog Sammy (friends Buba and Max). Spending the holidays with family was very important to Cathy, always enjoying all of the family gatherings. She lived with her wife Teresa in a condo they bought in Corona. It was her “little slice of heaven”. They spent many a nights watching the lights over the ridge. She was also a GREAT cook and loved gardening. She loved cooking and sharing a meal with our friends and neighbors. She especially loved spending time with her good friend Mick. The beautiful light of her soul, shone in every situation she was in.
