> Christine Ann (Keller) Bechtel left this world on November 6, 2018. She was born the oldest of three children on January 18, 1929 in Devils Lake, North Dakota. She attended Devils Lake High School, where she was the school valedictorian, head cheerleader and homecoming queen. > She married Don Bechtel in 1950 while he was in the Air Force. After a brief time in Seattle, they moved to Fullerton, California. > She served as Treasurer of the Corona Boat and Ski Club for many years. She was president of the Corpus Christi Institute Young Ladies Institute in Fullerton, and a member of the Elks Lodge, The Red Hat Society, and The Womens League. > She worked with her husband Don to establish Beco Electric, an electrical construction firm based in Santa Ana and Corona. > Don and Christine moved to Orange County, California in 1954, and together they raised seven children. In 1967 they moved to Corona, where she resided until the time of her death. > A world traveler, she visited Europe, Asia, and South America. She and her husband Don traveled extensively throughout North America, usually in a large motor home, towing a small car and a boat. > She is preceded in death by her husband Donald and her brother Eugene (Bud)Keller. She is survived by her brother LeRoy (Chuck)Keller, and children Brian (Mary) Bechtel of San Francisco, Brad (Roberta) Bechtel from San Francisco, Bruce (Sandie) Bechtel from Riverside, Elaine (Mark) Norland from Corona, Brent (Alice) Bechtel from Riverside, Colleen (Kevin) Mulvey from San Diego and North Platte, Nebraska, and Janice (Richard) Webb from Corona, by eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and numerous friends and associates. > The family wishes to thank the staff of Corona RCFE for their extended assistance over the past five years, Abbey Elder Care for the past month, and Companion Hospice for their help during her final days. > Internment will be at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California. A memorial service will be at 9:300 am at St. Matthews Catholic Church in Corona on Friday, November 16.
