Christopher Melvin Fuller was born to Vicki and John on November 18th, 1973 in Chula Vista, California. He was lovingly raised by his Grandmother Florine, Godmother Pat, and his Stepfather Dusty. Growing up he was a California boy through and through. He had long blonde hair, said dude every other word, had a nice beach tan and he shred with his skateboard through the streets of his hometown. He also loved playing sports and in his early years he played soccer at the YMCA, did some wrestling and was in his high school football team, mainly to get out of class. Chris attended Chula Vista High and almost graduated in 1991. After high school he attended Southwestern College and took interest in their arts program and working various jobs before moving on to his next venture, fatherhood. In 1998 he welcomed daughter Ashley and in 2003 he welcomed son Zackary. Sadly, their relationship was severed early on by circumstances beyond his control, leaving him strained from them. Chris was in a great deal of pain when in 2004, he found the love of his life Tamara and her two children Daniel and Benjamin. Together, they became a true family. He raised the boys to become responsible young men with bright futures ahead of them by giving them the best parts of him. Chris instilled his highest values to them, loyalty, respect, trust and perseverance. He also shared with them his love for nature and sports, good movies and video games. He took them fishing, hiking and shooting. He took them to the beach and the mountains. He took them to the zoo, the aquarium and the museum. He also instilled in them a deep love for animals, especially cats. He also taught them how to love and treat a woman and to always respect their mother. And most importantly, how to be a father. He will be remembered for his love of nature. Asides from cats, he loved fish, turtles and hawks. If he spotted one around, he would stop whatever he was doing to admire it as long as he could. He loved the mountains and the trees. Oh boy he loved his trees (hint hint). Chris was a resident of the City of Corona for 18 years, but at heart he was always a proud San Diegan He was a huge fan of the San Diego Chargers and San Diego Padres. (Fuck the Raiders, Fuck the Dodgers). He loved sharing his love of football, baseball and MMA with those around him, especially his family at home whilst yelling at the TV He was also a fisherman a marksman and an occasional fireman, putting out the flames around the neighborhood on more than one occasion. He was also a chef. Chris enjoyed cooking for his family. The best meals at the house were the ones he made (sorry Tamara). His short stint at culinary school only improved his already impressive cooking skills and his wholesome meals will certainly be missed. Chris was full of kindness. He was the type of man to buy food for the homeless or feed a stray cat. He was always there for his family when they needed him most. He was well respected by his neighbors, and he was well respected by those that worked close to him. In the last year of his life, he accomplished the most he ever did in his professional life, pitching his ideas and developing a brand and setting it up for success. It was a joy to see him enter that phase of his life as it improved his confidence in himself. He was also developing a sense of style with his bushy beard, long hair and going from his regular baseball caps to his Boston Scally's. Some were even lucky enough to see him in a suit once. Chris might have been perceived as a little rough around the edges. He had a way with words to say the least…Mainly any version of the word fuck. His wit was quick and often his temper was short. He had no problem telling anyone when he disagreed (eg. "You're fucking crazy dude", or simply "fuck off dude"). But he was not afraid to speak his mind and that is something to be admired. He made us all better by always keeping it honest and real, pushing us to do the same. He will be remembered as a loving partner, father, brother and friend. Chris was taken from us way too soon. He is survived by his loving life partner Tamara, children Daniel, Benjamin, Ashley and Zack, sisters Patricia and Serah, brothers Joshua and Dusty, stepmom Sue, his nieces and nephews. He was welcomed into heaven on December 10, 2022, by the loving arms of his Grandmother Florine, Dad Dusty and brother James and his cat, Conrad. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. Forever loved and in our hearts. Service Thomas Miller Mortuary 1118 East Sixth Street Corona, CA 92879 (951) 737-3244 | Thursday 12/22, 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
