Cleola Williams

October 29, 1937 — February 18, 2023

Our beloved Cleola Williams, 85, of Claiborne Parish, Louisiana passed away surrounded by loved ones. She entered into God's Kingdom on February 18th, 2023 to be with the Lord. Cleola was born on October 29th, 1937 to Mack and Angeline Combs in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana. After graduating High school, Cleola moved to Los Angeles, CA to be with her sister Enora and other family members until she met the love of her life. A match truly made in heaven. Ernest and Cleola wed in 1961. Billy was born on October 28th, 1956 a day before Cleolas birthday. Cleola always said that Billy was her birthday gift. Cleola was passionate about the Lord and the church. She always filled her home with warmth, kindness, and love. She was the matriarch of the family. She found it her duty to take care of Ernest, Mack, Enora, Willie, and James during their time of sickness before they succumbed to their illness. I believe that was her son's calling too. It was his turn to take care of her during her time of sickness. During Cleola's short 85 years on earth, she enjoyed her time with all of her nieces, nephews, grandkids, brothers, sisters, and son. We will miss her greatly. We are so glad that we had the time to have a celebration of life for her 85th birthday. None of us knew that would be the last year we would be able to celebrate with her. We didnt have time to say Good-Bye She is survived by her son Billy, daughter Sharon, and grandson Marcus. Including her brother Bishop Almer Ray Combs (Tina), Sister Rosie Thomas (Calvin), and a host of many loving family members. We would like to give special thanks to Laveda and Robert Lambert. They always made Cleola feel special. They took care of my mom more than I ever could. Psalm 138 I give you thanks, O LORD! All the kings of the earth will praise you. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life. St. John 14:3 I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
