David Glen Hall was born December 15, 1943, in Indianapolis, Indiana, and died January 13, 2026, in Riverside, California. David was the second child of Glen and Lois Hall. After World War II ended, the family moved to San Diego, California for work. David graduated from Grossmont High School in San Diego and later received his Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Protection Administration and Technology from Cal State Los Angeles. David became a Firefighter for the city of Colton, California, in 1965. David rose through the ranks of the Colton Fire Department and was promoted to Fire Chief in 1991, continuing his service until his retirement in 1997.

David is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sherry, two daughters, Valerie (Michael) Garrett of Las Vegas, Nevada and Natalie (Kent) Johnson of Riverside, California, two sons, Kyle (Debbie) Kerekffy of Carlsbad, California and Brett (Stephanie) Kerekffy of Oregon City, Oregon, two sisters, Judy Swarens of Carthage, Missouri, and Pat Chamberlain of Hayden, Idaho, 12 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was a member of Northpoint Evangelical Free Church, Corona. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service is scheduled for 11:00am on March 7, 2026, at the church.
