David Joseph McCall

David Joseph McCall, beloved husband, Dad, Grampie, and brother, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025 in Corona, California, surrounded by his loving family. He was 79 years old.

David was born on February 12, 1946, in Worthington, Minnesota, to Gerald and Sylvia McCall. In 1959, he and his family moved to Anaheim, CA. David met the love of his life, Diana Mellin, and they were married on July 12, 1969, in Anaheim, CA. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised their family in Corona, CA, where they have lived for the past 54 years.

David was a proud U.S. Army veteran, having served from 1965 to 1967. His commitment to his country and his family was evident in all that he did. He worked hard to provide for his loved ones, and was a constant source of strength, integrity and wisdom.

David's legacy lives on through his two children, seven granddaughters, and six great-grandchildren. He was a devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather who took great joy in spending time with his family, and his love will continue to be felt for generations to come.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Sylvia McCall, and is survived by his loving wife, Diana McCall; his children, Renee (Gary) and Mark (Marnie); his three sisters, Mary, Emily, and Linda; his brother, John; as well as his extended family and many friends.

A celebration of David's life will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the Hidden Valley Country Club in Norco, California. A private interment will take place at a later date at the Riverside National Cemetery for immediate family.

David's memory will forever be cherished by those who loved him. He will be missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
