Dennis Shigeru Okano

Born on July 26, 1948 in Fresno, Fresno, California. Died March 11, 2024 in Corona, Riverside, California.

Dennis was a maintenance worker at Madera Glass plant in Madera, California. He relocated to southern California and worked as

the Maintenance Manager and Plant Engineer at the Ball Foster Glass plant in El Monte, California.

Dennis is survived by his son, Garrett Michael Okano, daughter Jennifer Okano, and sister Kathy (Okano) Warth, along with several nieces.

Preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Jean (Glasscock) Okano, father Tom Kikuji Okano, mother Fusae Osaki, and brothers Kenneth

Kiyoshi Okano and Mark Masaru Okano.

Dennis was a devoted and loving husband and father. An avid bass fisherman and won several tournament awards.

He was a Navy veteran and a friend to all who were lucky enough to make his acquaintance.
