Devora Chedister

Devora Marie Home Chedister Age 86 of Corona California died October 11, 2014. “Dee”, daughter of Oswald and Mary Hoeme of Scott City, Kansas, loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by five of her six children, Valerie Jarvis of Steamboat Springs, CO, Linda Pease of Anchorage, AK, Rebecca Varnum of Camarillo, CA, John Chedister of Norco CA, and Mathew Chedister of Corona, CA. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren and her little dog Gina. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband John Chedister and daughter Cheryl Chedister. Devora was born and raised on a wheat farm in Scott City, Kansas until she left to follow her dreams in California where while working for a newspaper she met the love of her life John Chedister. On the birth of her first child she embarked on the life long career she was made for, that of mother and homemaker, everyone was welcome and fed well in her home. She will be greatly missed.
