Dolores (Dee) Mae Cook, 87, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2019 at her residence in Corona, CA. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Thomas Edmond and Margaret Esther Tillett. She was a graduate of Wilkinsburg High School in Pennsylvania. In 1951, she married James Alfred Cook, Jr. They moved to Wabash, Indiana in 1970. Jim and Dee were devoted Christians who served God faithfully their whole lives. They were married for over 60 years before he passed away in 2011. Before moving to Corona, CA in 2014, Dee lived in Sarasota, FL. She was a generous and compassionate person who loved many people and was loved by them. Dee made friends easily and enjoyed helping people. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her brother, Tom Tillett, her daughters, Peggy (Dave) McKee, and Sandy (Gary) King, and five grandchildren, Brent (Jill) McKee, Kevin (Rose) McKee, Jenny (Josh) Franco, Matt (Melissa) King, and Andrew King. Additionally, she is survived by eight great grandchildren, Nathan McKee, Molly McKee, Emily McKee, Rory McKee, Quinn McKee, Ben Franco, Olivia Franco, and Everett King. Family, friends, and others whose lives were blessed by Dee are invited to a memorial gathering at Valencia Terrance, 2300 S. Main St., Corona, CA at 2 p.m. on June 22nd. A graveside service will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Pittsburgh, PA at 11 a.m. on June 29th. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Riverside Life Services, 3727 McCray St, Riverside, CA 92506, where Dee volunteered most recently.
