Donald Eugene Gaines Sr

Donald Eugene Gaines Sr., 76, of Mira Loma, CA, died April 1, 2017 in Riverside, CA. He was born August 11, 1940 in Oklahoma City, OK, son of Clyde B and Virginia T Gaines. He grew up in Phillips, Texas and moved to Southern California in 1965 after the birth of his daughter, Kimberly. He enjoyed coaching his son, Donny Jr., in football and baseball. His favorite past times were golfing, fishing, and horse racing. He lived with his family in Norco for a few years, where they bred and raised race horses. Donald worked as a Millwright for over 30 years. Surviving are son, Donald (Karen) Gaines Jr., daughter, Kimberly Karol Burns, grandchildren, Robert Alec Burns, Kendra (Dominic) Argento, Chase Gaines, step-grandchildren, Melissa Molnaa, Kim (Justin) Kemmer, Allison Molnaa, step-great-grandchildren, Harper Easton Kemmer, previous spouse, Joan Gaines, his brother Sam Gaines (Mary Jean); niece, Holly Gaines and nephews, Sammy Dallas Gaines.
