Doreen Ann Acra

Doreen Acra, passed away at age 73, on August 22, 2021, in the City of Riverside. Doreen was born on April 27, 1948, in the City of Dunkirk, New York. She was the daughter of the late Howard White and Charlene (Hall) White. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Acra and her step daughter, Christine Acra Kimbrough. Doreen is survived by her loving daughter, Pamela Acra-Archuleta, son in law Daniel Archuleta and her three grandchildren, Hunter Kimbrough, Caylee Kimbrough & Allison Archuleta, her brother, Johnny Jacobs, sister, Sandy Noel, and her loving nieces and nephews. Doreen was a loving wife, mother & friend. Later in life she began working with children at Fontana Unified School District as a SLPA (speech and language) educator. She was forced into retirement due to her on going illness. Doreen enjoyed being around her family and being a grandmother. She also enjoyed spending time on her boat in Lake Havasu, traveling, bunco, bowling, gambling, laughing, country music, and volunteering at her granddaughter's school. Doreen was a loving and kind-hearted woman, who loved to spoil her grandchildren. She was a natural born caregiver. She had a knack at making friends and her laughter was infectious. Doreen loved to give her advice (her own two cents) to all of her family and friends. She was a mother to all and her passing has left a hole that only she could fill. Her ability to love, provide, support, and forgive will forever be lessons to all who knew her. Doreen was truly a great woman whose impact will forever be felt by her family, her friends, and those who loved her dearly.
