Doreen W. Hopkins

Was born to *Sterling Hopkins and *Nancy Colona on December 26, 1937 in Riverside, California. She attended Irving Elementary, Poly High School (Diploma 1955), Seattle University (Bachelors Degree Marketing 1960) and her Masters Degree from Cornell University, New York. Doreen enjoyed life to its fullest. July 30th, 1996 she married her soul mate, Wladimir Poljakow affectionately known as “Bill” her traveling companion. She loved traveling on an international level, when she described their adventures it presented “brightly” in her eyes. “Crocheting” was her passion along with “cooking” recipes that required searching afar for special ingredients. She was poised, confident and determined to accomplish her goals which she did. Doreen had two brothers, Sterling Edward Hopkins, Jr. of Los Angeles, California and *Rolando James Colona who preceded her in death.
