Edith was deeply devoted to her family, her community, and the many passions that enriched her life. Strong-willed yet compassionate, she possessed a generous spirit and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She found immense joy in bringing people together, especially through her cooking. Holidays and family gatherings were made special by her presence, as she took great pride in preparing meals that nourished both body and soul.

A gifted self-taught pianist, Edith shared her love of music with family, friends, and her community. Her music brought comfort, joy, and lasting memories to all who listened. She cherished entertaining and believed life’s greatest blessings were found in moments shared with loved ones. Family gatherings were never complete without her warmth, laughter, and vibrant spirit. Edith was the heart of many celebrations, and her ability to unite people will forever be remembered and treasured.

At the center of Edith’s life was her enduring love for Jack Nelson, the love of her life and devoted partner through the years. Together, they built a life rooted in faith, family, perseverance, and love. Their bond was a beautiful example of commitment and devotion, and the memories they created together will forever remain treasured by their family.

Edith was a woman of unwavering strength, deep compassion, and enduring faith. She devoted her life to caring for her family, offering wisdom, comfort, and unconditional love to everyone around her. Through every hardship, she remained resilient and graceful, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, sacrifice, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

The following prayer beautifully reflects the comfort found in her memory and lasting presence:

“The loss of a mother is one of the greatest losses in life. But those we love never truly leave us. They left us beautiful memories, and their love is still our guide… They walk beside us every day.”

Her love was strong and enduring, filling the lives of her children and grandchildren with warmth, guidance, and faith. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit continues to lead and inspire us through life’s most difficult moments.

We find peace and comfort in the words of Psalm 23:6:

“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.”

We take comfort in knowing that Edith now rests eternally in the house of the Lord, embraced by everlasting peace, while her memory remains a lasting blessing to all who loved her.
