Edward - Del Castillo

Edward Del Castillo “forever our hero” Edward “Eddie” Del Castillo passed away peacefully at his home July 15, 2015 with his family at his bedside. Preceded in death by his wife Rosa Munoz Del Castillo, parents Victoria Bega and George Del Castillo, and sister Rosemarie Sandoval. Edward was survived by his three children Sylvia, George, and Patricia Del Castillo; his three grandchildren he raised Jessica, Yvonne, and Tessa Salgado; his siblings, Richard Del Castillo, Rosalie Gonzalez, Rosanne Varela, and Lupe Sandoval, 10 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. Eddie can best be described as a hero through the eyes of his children and grandchildren. He had a heart of pure gold and hands of an angel. He enjoyed sharing stories of his youth. His favorite story to share was how he met his wife, Rosa. Eddie would happily say, “I saw her picture in the newspaper and thought to myself Im going to marry her”. And he did. Rosa and Eddie shared a loving and wonderful life together. The family is comforted by knowing they are finally reunited in heaven. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
