Edward William Seadschlag, 97 Years, of Corona, California, died March 27, 2018. He was born August 21, 1920 in Dalton, Nebraska, son of Charles Henry Seadschlag and Addie Pearle Schlimm-Seadschlag . From 1944 to 1946, Edward served his country proudly with honor and distinction in the U.S. Army Air Corps., as a Medical Evacuation Tech. During this time, he received several awards like the WWII Victory Medal and Bronze Star with Valor. Edward lived in El Monte for over 60 years before moving to Corona. He was an active member of the LDS Church, El Monte II Ward, and served in many areas over his time there. Edward worked as a Manager for Southern California Gas Company for 45 years. Edward was a loving husband of nearly 66 years; father, grandfather, great-grandfather and neighbor. His smile, friendly demeanor and integrity will be missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of almost 66 years, Flora Belle Seadschlag; his children; Jeff Seadschlag and Janet McNeil; 4 Grandchildren; and 3 Great-Grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California on Tuesday 11:45AM, April 10, 2018.
