May 19, 1930 — August 25, 2021

Eliseo Esparza Lara passed away on August 25, 2021 in Corona, California. Eliseo was born in Juchipila, Zacatecas, Mexico to Eliseo Davalos Lara and Carmela Esparza Lara on May 19, 1930. Eliseo grew up working on the family ranch, where he developed a strong lifelong work ethic. In the late 1940's he came to the United States to make a better life for himself. Working throughout California in many different jobs, he settled in Southern California where he worked for Heet Brothers Fence Company as a yard foreman and lumber salesman for over 35 years. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching baseball games, working on home improvement projects, and took pride in his garden. Eliseo is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patricia Ann Lara. Together they raised their five children in Azusa, California. He survived by his children; son Eliseo (Lee) Lara III and daughter-in-law Katherine Lara of Lake Elsinore; daughter Martha Creekmur of Rancho Cucamonga; daughter Sandra Garza and son-in-law Michael D. Garza of Cary, North Carolina; son Hector Lara of Corona; son Edward Lara and daughter-in-law Jennifer Lara of Corona. He also leaves behind twelve wonderful grandchildren: Michael Garza, Brittany Rees, Natalie Creekmur, Kaitlyn Lara, Steven Lara, Sean Garza, Ethan Lara, Andrew Lara, Cameron Lara, Kirsten Lara, Alyssia Lara and Landon Lara. He is survived by sister Arcelia E. Lara of Mexico City. He also had many loving nieces and nephews. We will miss you Eliseo - your monologues, words of advice and your generosity to help anyone you met. You were a generous son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend.
