Ernst Fusterer

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we must inform you of the passing of Ernst "Ernie" Fusterer on July 12, 2019 at the age of 78. Born in Glogonj, Serbia (Yugoslavia), he moved to Germany and eventually made his way to the United States when he was a teenager. He joined the U.S. Army where he serviced tanks. When he left the military, he began his career as a tool and die maker, which he continued till the end of his life. Ernie was a loving husband, father and Grandfather. Many in the extended family saw him as an easy-going uncle and a dear friend. His presence will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking to make a donation in Ernie's name to the Wounded Warriors Project (link below). Ernie leaves behind his wife Corinne; his son, Jeffrey; his daughter, Katarina; his other daughter Melissa and her husband Michael; and grandchildren Melissa, Aaron, Ashli, and Avery; his sister, Elfie.
