Estella P Acevedo

Estella Acevedo age 84, a lifelong resident of Corona, California passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017. She was born on September 20, 1932 to Pedro and Isabell Reynoso. She will be deeply missed by her children, Larry (Anna) Acevedo, Garry (Desire) Acevedo, and Annette (George) Aguilar, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Sister to Louisa (Richard) Minitre, Mary (Art) Aguirre and David (Charlotte) Reynoso and aunt too many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Mario Acevedo, Brothers Carlos, Ray, and Pete Reynoso, Sisters Becky Lopez and Cecilia Reynoso. Stella last employer, and which she retired from was the Corona Norco Unified School District, where she loved to work with children. She also was a member of the American Legion post 742. She loved to garden, do crafts, cook and watch the Price is Right, Family Feud and Dodger games. Her favorite thing most of all was to go out to eat breakfast. Funeral services will be held at St. Edwards Church in Corona on Tuesday September 19, 2017. Viewing is 9:30 to 10:00, Rosary 10:00 to 10:30 and mass starting at 10:30. Graveside services will be held immediately following at Sunnyslope Cemetery in Corona. Reception will held at the American Legion Post 742, 1557 Yorba St, Corona, starting at 12:00 pm.
