Evelyn was born February 21, 1937 in Melrose, Louisiana to parents Harold and Margaret Meziere. She was the middle child to older brother Harold and younger brother Dan Meziere. Evelyn was raised in Gardena, California and raised her family in Anaheim, California. To all who knew Evelyn, knew her larger than life personality, her genuine heart, and her love for her family and friends. Evelyn married Richard Minogue in 1959. Their love was so evident, so pure and so kind, they were one. With this love, they raised six loving boys: Frank, Jim, Tom, Steve, Rich and Chris. She loved her daughter-in-laws as her own as well Mary (Frank), Michelle (Jim), Cindy (Rich) and Meg(Chris). Her grandchildren were her pride and joy: Randy, Reese, Yvon, Rachel, Aj, Jackie, Roni, Delany and Richard. If you wanted to ever find Evelyn, you could most likely catch her at the ball field or at the bowling alley. Many of her memories were at the softball fields with all her boys or at the bowling alley playing in leagues. It was something her husband, kids and grandchildren all shared. She would never miss an opportunity to be with friends. Her friends were her family, she always treated everyone like they were family and this is why she was loved by so many. That was some of her most cherished memories was being around the people she loved most and watching her family have fun. Evelyn's Catholic faith was important to her and her family's upbringing. She was an active member at Saint Mary Magdalene in Corona, California. She was a bookkeeper and actively participated in church events. Evelyn was also an active member in the Corona community. She was a member of the Red Hats Society, which also had many events that gave back to the community. Evelyn will be most remembered for her love for her family, her compassion for others, and her generous and giving heart. She will be missed by so many because she touched every single life, she was a part of. We will carry on the laughs, stories, and memories of her life forever. She left an amazing legacy and will greatly be missed.
