Ezra Henderson Jr.

Ezra Henderson Jr. was born August 18, 1930 to Ezra Henderson and Lucille Thornton Henderson, in Humboldt, Tennessee. He graduated from Stigall High School in Humboldt, Tennessee. He was in the draft and sent to Korea in combat in 1951. After returning from Korea he moved to Joliet, Illinois in 1953. He hired in at Caterpillar Tractor, worked in the Safety Department and went to Joliet Junior College. Ezra retired from Caterpillar on December 20, 1985 after thirty and a half years. Ezra was preceded in death be Step Son Keith Henderson and survived in death by Son Raheem Curry Daughter Karen Ann Kennedy, Son Karl Ezra Henderson and Daughter Valyncia Deon Allen. Grand Children Stephen Dawson, Alex Kennedy Raymond Henderson, Karlee Henderson, Jordan Allen and Carmen Arenella. Great Grand Children Stashia Hinton, Stephen T. Dawson Stephen S. Dawson Jr., and Ah'Nadia Dawson.
