Fabian Laureano Diaz Jr.

Fabian L Diaz Jr “Gordo” was born August 28, 1970 in Riverside, CA to Fabian Sr. and the late Mary Lou Cabrales Diaz. Fabian sadly passed away Monday, April 8, 2024 at the age of 53 at Kaiser Permanente of riverside .

Fabian grew up in Imperial, CA where he attended Imperial High and participated in basketball and football. Fabian appeared in multiple front pages of the local newspaper for his outstanding performances on the varsity football team.

Due to his hard work in and dedication on the football team, he recieved multiple college scholarships.

Fabian moved to Corona, CA after graduating from high school where he later married his high school sweetheart Isabel. Three children were born from this union.

Fabian was a parking attendant for the Pasadena Rose Bowl flea market for 10 years. There he worked along side his brother and cousins. Fabian always had them and anyone he’d meet there laughing and having a good time.

Some of Fabian's favorite things to do included watching his favorite football team the Dallas Cowboys, enjoying time with family and friends, and jamming out to music.

Fabian’s greatest joy was his family. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed cheering on his granddaughter Amaya during her softball games.

Fabian is survived by his wife Isabel, his 3 children Adrian, Samantha and Marissa, his father Fabian Sr., and his siblings Jessica, Andy, and Alex.

He was also a proud Tata to his four grandchildren Amaya, Nelson, Jordan, and Adrian Jr.

Fabian was preceded in death by his beloved mother Mary Lou and baby brother George, father-in-law Camilo and brother-in-law Camilo Jr.

Fabian was a loyal person to all who were lucky enough to make his acquaintance.

He will truly be missed.
