Frances Jean Hibbard

Frances Jean Hibbard January 16, 1932 - April 20, 2022 Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend Jean passed peacefully into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father in the early morning of April 20, 2022. Jean was preceded in death by her husband Lewis in 2000 and her daughter Nancy in 1978. She is survived by brother Norman Lilley, two sons Douglas and wife Mary, Thomas and wife Lesa, daughter Julie Anderson and husband Jeffrey and 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Jean was born in Riverside, CA in 1932 to her parents Francis and Lucille Lilley. She was the eldest of 5 children, 3 girls and 2 boys. Except for the few years Jean recently lived in Corona, she resided in Riverside her entire life. Jean met the love of her life, Lewis Hibbard, and they were married June 30, 1950. They attended the Arlington Ave Church of the Nazarene with their 4 children where Jean made many lifelong friends and served faithfully in numerous ministries. One of Lewis and Jean's favorites was the work and witness ministry. They were able to travel all over the world building churches and spreading the gospel. Jean also spent many years serving as a classroom aide at Collett Elementary School where she positively impacted the lives of hundreds of children. Jean particularly loved her cats, Sammy and Cassie. She got them as kittens shortly after Lewis passed away and they stayed with her their entire lives. They were such a comfort and great companions. Jean's graveside memorial service will be on Friday, May 20 at 11:30am at Riverside National Cemetery at 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA 92518. Flowers can be sent to Thomas Miller Mortuary, Corona Chapel, in Corona, CA. However, in lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to Mary S.
