Francisco “Pancho” “Frank” Chavez Sanchez

December 17, 1958 — November 7, 2021

An amazing Husband, Father, Grandpa, Brother, Uncle and Son. Francisco Chavez Sanchez was unexpectedly called to the Kingdom of Heaven on November 7th, 2021. He was born in Leon GTO, Mexico to Benjamin and Juana Sanchez on December 17, 1958. He is the oldest of 8 children. He grew up in his hometown in Leon GTO, Mexico and in 1977 decided to come to the United Sates. He met his wife, Terri, at a restaurant called The Granada where he was a cook, and she was a waitress. They fell in love and married in 1981 and had 4 children. They raised their family in the city of Corona, Ca. During his early years working in the U.S., he took the risk of being his own boss and became an entrepreneur. He created his own landscaping business in 1983. He worked very hard and grew his business in the city of Corona and is known by many for his beautiful work. He was a successful business owner. He continued running his business and working very hard up until before he was called upon by God. Francisco was known by many loved ones and friends as Frank or Pancho. He was a people person and enjoyed making friends and had developed relationships with his customers that lasted many years to where they became like family. As he became an older man, he became closer with God and was a faithful practicing Catholic. He attended Church every Sunday and participated in a group called The Cursillos which he would do outreach to people seeking to become closer with God. He volunteered his time and service to this organization, and it meant a lot to him because this helped him become closer to God. He loved to cook and make authentic Mexican dishes. He also enjoyed eating good food and was a foodie. Some of his specialties are his Carnitas, ceviche, and Tamales. He enjoyed cooking Tamales during the holidays and giving them out to friends and family. He enjoyed hosting gatherings and singing karaoke. He loved to listen to live Mariachi music. He loved the beach and travelled to different places. One of his favorite places was to visit his childhood home and he would make a stop in Cancun and enjoyed the beaches. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and he loved being a grandpa. He had 6 grandchildren and loved them very much. He believed the love for his grandchildren was a different type of love and was very deep. He enjoyed taking his grandbabies out to eat and spending time with them. Frank was a wonderful person and there are not enough words or pages to describe the impact he had on his family and friends. He always gave everyone a chance and was willing to share his ideas on how to become successful or how to do things he knew about. He was always kind and had a positive outlook on life despite any obstacles he encountered. He believed life is too short to be unhappy or not at peace. He didn't worry or preoccupy his mind with things that were out of his control. His faith in God was strong and he knew he could leave it up to God to guide his way. Dad danced to the beat of his own drum and will be greatly missed but his memory and traditions will live on through family and friends whom he touched with his presence. He will forever be in our hearts. May he rest in peace. We love you Dad.
