Frank P. Hernandez September 1, 1948~June 23, 2018 Frank P. Hernandez of Corona, California passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018 in the early evening. He was 69 years old. Frank was born on September 1, 1948 and lived in the Corona and Riverside area for most of his life. Frank is survived by his sons Frank Jr., Carlos and his wife Alicia, Alex and his wife Trish, Tommy, daughter Lydia Malamma and husband Jon, sisters Emily Salgado and her husband Art, Irene Garcia, and brother Ernest and his wife Nellie. Frank has many loving grandchildren (18), nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Silvester and Isabel, brother Henry, sister Helen Orona, and daughter Linda Hernandez. Frank worked as a machinist for 30 years. He enjoyed camping, eating tacos, burritos, cheeseburgers, and menudo, watching football, fishing, gathering for holidays, sledding in the snow, yard work with his father on Saturday mornings, listening to oldies, going to the beach, exploring the streets of Corona, and spending time with his children, grandchildren, family, and friends. He liked to talk about the “good old days” and enjoyed life. He loved his sweets especially chocolate, peanut butter cups, peanut M&Ms, and Coke Cola. Frank was a loving and caring son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. We will miss him dearly. This is not a good-bye, rather a see you later. A viewing service will be held from 10:00-11:00am at Thomas Miller Mortuary 1118 E 6th St. Corona, Ca. Followed by a graveside service at 11:30am at the location of Sunnyslope Cemetery 1125 Rimpau Ave. Corona, Ca.
