Frank Placentia Estrella

January 16, 1934 — June 19, 2020

Frank was born on January 16, 1934 to Balbina (aka Bobbie) and Frank Sr. in Orange CA. Frank was the eldest of 4 children, the only son of Bobbie and Frank Sr. He had the honor of growing up at Bixby Ranch with his Grandparents who managed one of the historical ranches. Living on the ranch gave him the chance to live close to his cousins and his aunts and uncles. He learned to love the country lifestyle that lasted a life time. At the age of three he accidently fell into the Santa Ana River that ran through the property. He was lucky enough that his cousin Lina was close behind. She was just a young girl but Lina risked her own life to save her dear cousin. After high school Frank went into the army. The army changed his life. He learned life skills there. Although he was not a Christian yet he believed that he was doing God's work while stationed in Korea. Upon returning from Korea he met his wife Connie. Connie was to be his partner in his cousin Jesse's upcoming wedding. Frank & Connie married in 1960. Frank already had two children of his own, Eileen & Joe. In 1963 Connie gave birth to Jerry and in 1966 Becca was born. In the 70's Frank went to Alaska to work on The Pipeline. While in Alaska Frank was in a airplane accident. He decided it was time to hang up his parka and come back to Southern California with his family who were then living in Corona, CA. By then Frank and Connie had bought a little home in Rosarito, MX. where the family liked to spend their weekends. Frank then started his ministry. He saved many souls, from Mexico to Alaska. He dedicated his life to Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior. Nothing was more important to him than serving God. Just recently Frank was witness to the pandemic and rioting in the streets but he never lost faith. Frank was and is a patriot. He loved his country and his president. He read his bible everyday and prayed for his family and friends. He is loved by many. He wasn't always the easiest person to get along with, in fact he was very stern and disciplined but despite that will be missed, mostly by his children who adored him. Besides being stern, Frank was also funny, compassionate and very loving and affectionate. He loved children. If there was a child in his presences Frank always had the need to pinch their cheeks. No child's cheeks were safe if Uncle Frankie was around. We're sorry to see him leave but he will be together with Connie where he belongs. He was a soldier in God's army but his mission has been accomplished. It is now up to us to continue his work. Be brave, have faith and serve God.
